This film recounts the personal journey of two men and a woman from a distance of thirty years.

Their journey began in their village in the Gondar region of North Ethiopia and came to a halt in Sudan, where they were told that they would be taken from there to the Land of Israel. Takele Mekonnen was then 15 years old, Naftali Abraham was 13 years old, and Roni Malkai was a toddler of two and a half years and barely survived the hardships of the journey. Together they depart for a journey they had already gone through in the past, in attempt to resolve some questions that remained open. Each person and their own story, each person and their own secrets and pains.

The film sheds a new light on the story of a people, which, despite all the years that have passed, is still differentiated, misunderstood, and has not become an integral part of Israeli society.
